Sun-sign compatibility · Fire + Earth
♈︎ Aries + ♉︎ Taurus compatibility
Fire meets Earth: slow forge. मेष + वृषभ
What works
Fire wants to move; earth wants to finish. Frustrating at first, formidable once each learns the other's tempo.
Aries brings initiative, drive, directness; Taurus brings steadiness, senses, persistence. At their best, the pair turns those different instincts into a division of labor rather than a contest over whose style is correct.
Where friction appears
The signs are thirty degrees apart. Neighboring signs share little obvious language, so cooperation grows through curiosity.
As a cardinal sign, Aries starts the movement and wants a visible decision; as a fixed sign, Taurus protects continuity and resists being rushed. The repair is concrete: give Aries directness, momentum and room to act, while giving Taurus reliability, useful effort and evidence over promises.
The mechanics

| Element | Fire | Earth |
| Modality | Cardinal | Fixed |
| Ruler | Mars | Venus |
| Keywords | initiative, drive, directness | steadiness, senses, persistence |
Communication and durability
Aries's ruler, Mars, emphasizes drive and friction; Taurus's ruler, Venus, emphasizes relating and value. The pairing lasts when neither person treats a different pacing or emotional language as a lack of commitment.
