Birth data and privacy

The calculators are stateless: birth details are used to return one result and are not written to an account or chart database.

What the calculator sends

When you calculate a chart, kundli or match, the browser sends the entered birth date, optional time, IANA timezone or explicit UTC offset, latitude, longitude and optional display name to StarScore's calculation API over HTTPS. The API resolves the local clock, calculates the result in memory and does not save the request body as a chart or birth profile. The response includes the resolved UTC instant and offset so you can check the calculation.

Optional transfers between calculators

Only when you choose a button to continue in another calculator does the browser place those birth inputs in session storage for this tab. The transfer is valid for up to 30 minutes and is removed when the receiving calculator loads it. It is not an account or a server-saved profile. You can edit the carried details before calculating again. If browser storage is unavailable, the site asks you to enter the details in the other tool.

Downloads and AI prompts

Downloading a result creates a file on your device. It can contain personal chart data and resolved calculation details. Anyone you share that file with may be able to read them; keep it somewhere appropriate for personal information.

The AI prompt builder runs in your browser. It copies selected calculated facts, using anonymous labels for matching and omitting names, raw birth input fields, resolved UTC, timezone and coordinates. The birth-date start of the first dasha balance is omitted too. Placements and later period dates can still be personal. Review the prompt before pasting it into an external AI service, whose own privacy rules then apply. StarScore does not send the calculator inputs to a language model.

Site analytics and logs

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view and performance reports. Its browser beacon measures page visits and loading performance; see Cloudflare's data collection documentation. Standard hosting infrastructure also processes network metadata such as IP address and requested path in server logs for security and operations.

The personal scoreboard

The personal scoreboard stores your saved reading marks. It is keyed by a random secret id held in your browser's local storage and in your private link; no email, name or password is collected. Stored per mark: the date, the sign, hit or miss, an optional note of up to 200 characters that you wrote, and the day's tightest aspect and Moon house. Aggregates across all ledgers appear on the public scoreboard without any per-ledger detail. You can remove a mark, forget the ledger on a device, or erase the whole ledger from the server at any time from the scoreboard page.

Optional notes can contain personal information you choose to enter. Keep your private link safe: anyone with it can access that ledger. Marks are accepted only for today or past dates using UTC, and public totals describe voluntary reader feedback.

Public reading snapshots

Separately from calculator inputs and private scoreboards, StarScore saves shared daily horoscope text by date, sign and language, with its sky context and first-capture timestamp. This keeps captured wording stable in the public archive. Past dates first captured later are labelled reconstructed, not original historical predictions. These records contain public sign readings, not submitted birth details.

Your control

You can leave birth time blank. The result uses local-noon positions, explains the uncertainty and omits natal houses, angles and the D9 house diagram. Where the requested house calculation is unavailable at a location, those fields are also omitted. You can enter coordinates with a manual UTC offset, skip the name field and use the calculators without choosing a transfer or download.
